Indian Leggings (Book Three, Card 29)

In North America, Indian leggings are commonly worn. When buckskin was available, the Indian used it to make his leggings. You can use any type of thin leather, leatherette flannel, or blue denim for this project. For Indian leggings, proper cutting and sewing are necessary, as is proper fitting. In Native American attire, there appears to be a shift away from traditional garb that merely covered private areas and toward leather pants and clothing that is less exposed.
