Points of a Horse (Book One, Card 28)

Points of horse

Horse is an important animal in Indian culture. Before Columbus’ arrival in 1492, the Western World accepted the belief that there were no horses in the Americas. As a result, the Western World thought that all Native American horses were descended from horses imported from elsewhere. After palaeontology pioneer Joseph Leidy uncovered horse remains embedded in American soil in the 1830s, this concept was forced to alter. They were discovered to be the oldest in the world. The American scientific community, according to Collin’s dissertation, was angry and questioned his conclusions. But ultimately, they have to agree.
